Special Event Station

The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs’ Club will celebrate 109 years of continuous service as an amateur radio club, and 107 years of affiliation with the ARRL (the national association for amateur radio). We will be active on the air from the Ham Radio Outlet showroom working HF (20-meters and 40-meters) and our VHF repeater (145.390 MHz PL 127.3) and WiRES-X (#43588).

All club members are invited to participate with set-up, tear-down, and/or on-the-air  activity (behind the mic or logging) from the Ham Radio Outlet retail showroom in Milwaukee. More details will be announced at upcoming members meetings and our groups.io email exchange.

A commemorative certificate will be available upon request for stations with confirmed contact with W9RH/109 during the Special Event. To request your certificate, please send an email to: specialeventstation@w9rh.org, including your name, call sign and preferred email address for receiving the certificate. Certificates will be emailed by February 28, 2026.
