Is your ham shack getting crimped? There are two methods of adhering connectors to cables…soldering or crimping. There’s also debate as to which method is best. We’ll settle that debate in this workshop.

What we’ll cover: when to solder, when to crimp, how to crimp, best crimpers for the job

Types of connectors: PL-259, BNC, Powerpoles

You can bring coax, power cables, and connectors to participate in making custom length jumpers or feedlines. Or you can observe others. Crimpers will be provided.

Tools necessary: wire cutter, wire stripper

Safety is paramount. Please bring your safety goggles.

Seating is limited. Registration is required.
